Gileane Rodrigues da Conceição Borges, daughter of pastors Marcondes Borges & Ana Rodrigues da Conceição Borges, was born in Bahia-Brasil on May 1984. At the age of 8, the family moved to Aruba. At age 11, she took her own decision for Christ and was baptized at the age of 12. At that time, Gileane was part of the dance group of the church. She discovered her music talent when she and her friends formed a singing group under the leadership of the church pianist. However, the dedication was totally for the dance.
The ministry of praise and worship began when the family moved to Holland, fulfilling God's call to open a church there. Gileane began ministering worship at her local church (www.nlccm.com). After a while, came the desire in her heart to record a cd. Without discussing it with anyone, she just prayed to the Lord in secret, without knowing that this dream was the dream that God already had for her life. The time came when God began to speak and confirm that project in Gileane's heart and in 2008, a promise of God was fulfilled with the first CD "Río Santo", recorded in the United States, where most songs were composed by Gileane and her siblings.
The desire of Gileane is to reach lives around the world, spreading the message through the music, ministering power, anointing and love of God in every heart and winning souls for the Kingdom of God. Part of this vision is to help the poor and missionary work around the world. This dream of helping the poor came true in 2010 when the I.C.U Foundation (I Care Unconditionally) is officially registered.
