We are a non-profit Christian organization. Our only goal is to help the poor and reach them with the good news of the Gospel. Our mission is to provide the basic needs, which they do not have. Ensuring the welfare of the poor, providing food, clothing, housing, health, personal and spiritual education is our great mission.
October 2010 I.C.U. Foundation started its project in Brazil After many preparations and prayers, it was time to go to Brazil and launch our first project providing assistance to the needy. It was a missionary trip where we could see the reality of those who desperately need help.
After visiting some places, we came across Logrador, a village that is part of the municipality of Ribeira do Pombal in Bahia. This place consists of aproximately 150 families, where most parents have more than 7 children. We felt from God in our harts to start the project there, where there is no water for drinking or shower, where people do not have a bathroom and wait until it rains to find ground water for a shower and to drink. Yes, they drink dirty water because they have no other choice.
Our work in Logrador
We visited several families, talked to them, and they told us their story. It broke our hearts to hear how they live, and the desire to help them was burning more and more in our hearts. We purchased food, prepared the baskets, and went to feed 20 families. We brought them clothes and it was beautiful to see the smiles on their faces when getting help. Unfortunately, we did not have enough resources to help everyone, and what hurt us most, was to see people coming after us begging for help after we had nothing left. We registered a lot of families, and yet many more have to be registered in order to provide better help and support.
The gospel was preached. They were very interested. We distributed many tracts, to those who could read. Unfortunately, most parents are illiterate.
In conclusion: our project and further work to be done in Logrador is huge, and we need YOU to help us accomplish this great mission, which is sharing the gospel and to feed, dress and provide shelter for those who need us.
Together we can achieve, together we can make a difference, and shine a light and give hope for those who do not have and live in darkness and uncertainty. United we will fight, united we will stand, united we will conquer Logrador for Jesus. The forgotten are no longer forgotten, because WE CARE UNCONDITIONALLY for them.

I.C.U FOUNDATION OPENS THE YEAR WITH SUCCESS AND BLESSINGS IN LOGRADOR
Sunday, January 2nd, a daythat markedthelivesof the people of Logrador.We started theyearwith an evangelistic day, averyblessedand successful one.In the morning,at arrival,we announcedthemeeting, andwithin 10minutes,150people gathered together,including children.We gave thema greatbreakfast,and they all ate together.After eating, we had a blessed service with music and the Word of God. 24 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. To God alone all the honor and glory.
We gave the children their gifts, they gotso excited and happy when receiving newclothes, shoes, toysandschoolmaterials, which thebrothersand sisters ofNLCCM(www.nlccm.com)bought for themwithlove.In addition,eachfamily broughta packageoffoodhome,andmore familieshave been registered,givingita total of33registered familieswhowe are attending.
